Sorry it’s been so long since my last blog. We were on vacation in CA. We had a great time! One of the many highlights was surprising Patrice for her birthday. See her blog for pictures at www.iblognow.blogspot.com. It was so much fun tricking her.
I’m going to let the pictures do the talking as I usually do. Some fun things we did was seeing friends and family, playing at a beautiful park in Laguna Beach that we discovered right on the ocean, going to our favorite coffee shop Kaylani’s, going to Sea World with family, taking pictures (photography is a hobby both Mo and I are beginning to enjoy), playing golf, watching Isaac play with his cousins, going to Salt Creek Beach (one of our favorite resting places) and eating enormous amounts of El Pollo Loco (Mo’s favorite fast food restaurant in the world).
The time went by way too fast and we didn’t get to spend as much time with friends as we hoped. But can you ever have enough time with friends?
As we reflect on our time in CA it solidified for us that we are exactly where God wants us as this time in our lives. We enjoyed seeing everyone and all the old places we loved (and introducing them to Isaac), but we have entered a new chapter in our lives that we wouldn’t change. And we can’t imagine life without our Virginia blessing of Isaac. He is truly a treasure that we can’t stop thanking God for giving to us.
