We tried to get all the kids on the couch. Every child had their unique way of feeling secure. Sucking a pacifier, a thumb, fingers or toes! Hee-hee.

California

We had an great trip to California!

We had a reunion with my old small group of women (We used to call ourselves the Wives Prayer Group). We started meeting together about 6 years ago when many of us were still engaged! This time we were together we were introducing our 9 children to each other. My how time flies!

Then I was able to go to my friend Patrice's wedding! What a treat! Martin is a wonderful man who loves and treasures Patrice very much. It is summed up in a portion of a song they passed out at the wedding. Martin wrote this after he met Patrice for the first time -

Patrice is going to be a wonderful wife! They are both so blessed to have each other. Pray for them as they get Patrice moved to her new home on the Isle of Wight.

We mostly visited with friends for the rest of our time. We also had a few days at the beach, a big Easter party at the Deckerts, a picnic at Dana Point and a visit to The Flower Fields. It was confirmed to us how much we miss Chris, Kristin & family. Isaac had so much fun with his cousins. Except for a bad cold for Isaac the trip went well!

The BIG 3-0

We had fun last night celebrating Mo's 30th birthday at an Italian restaurant here in town! It was a surprise! He was so glad that everyone came. He got lots of fun gifts and we had good fellowship with friends. I would post pictures, but can't because it was pouring down rain and I left the camera in the car!!

Isaac and I head out Thursday morning for California for my friend Patrice's wedding. We are so excited to see everyone. Unfortunately, Mo will be holding down the fort here. I will post pics when I return.
