13 months and counting!

Isaac turned 13 months old on the 20th! We had a great time getting his one year picture taken. I have to say though I am pretty tired of those picture taking people asking me if they can use Isaac's pictures in their advertising! Hee-hee.

Mo is getting ready to head off to Honduras in one week. Today we went to church and asked for prayer for this in our ABF class. We felt such a sense of community that warmed our hearts when 6 different families offered to have Isaac and I over for dinner or to babysit for me while Mo was gone. Thank the Lord for providing us with people like this in our lives (it only took almost 2 years).

Isaac and I are actually heading to the mountains to stay with my parents for the week. It should be a fun time of apple picking, bird watching, fishing, hiking and strolling with Grandpa for Isaac. For me it will be a wonderful time of sewing purses with Mom, going to the farmers market, crocheting my afghan, reading and sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace as I look out the window and watch the deer dance by the pond in the field below. Which will hopefully take our minds off of Mo being gone and not being able to contact home since he will be visiting rural villages in the mountains of Honduras and taking the gospel to people who have never heard before!

Isaac is quite the little potential gap model!
Your time in the mountains with your parents sounds wonderful. We can't wait to hear how Mo's trip to Honduras goes...we will be praying!
