At the end of June we had a great time with all the clan at my parent's house that we have dubbed "Heartwood."
The kids did crafts, fished, played in the kiddie pool, went on adventures and solved mysteries with Grandpa. Mom also got the oldest of the 3 grandchildren to sing for us on Sunday morning in the mini kid's choir.
Being together made us miss our far away family even more and we can't wait until we can all be together again soon.
Pray for safe travel for us this weekend. We are going with some of our friends from church to the Chesapeake Bay for a relaxing time of fishing, kayaking and resting.
