Congrats!

To Mo! He got a promotion at work that started today. His schedule has changed a little. He is now working 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Tuesday through Saturday. We will miss him having Fridays off, but that's okay because we have the whole morning with him. After working so many years with my husband I miss being with him SOOOO much. There just aren't enough hours in the day to spend together!

Wednesday mornings I have started going to a Bible Study at church called Freedom For Mothers. I really love it! It is a great time of connecting with other moms. And also so many great reminders of what a wonderful God we serve. This whole house buying process has been such a roller coaster it's a good reminder to know God will always take care of us. He will never let any of His children go hungry or thirsty! What a wonderful promise to cling to!

Going to Bible Study has also allowed Mo to institute what he calls, "Buddy Day!"

Which he affectionately stole from my brother Chris. He and Isaac had their first official Buddy Day today. They went to the park for a walk. Isaac wasn't too interested in walking though. He pointed at the sky when a flock of geese flew over and loudly yelled, "Uh, uh, uhhhhhh!" Then he discovered that rocks dropped in water make a great sound...so he tried that for awhile. They had to make a hasty exit from the park when Mo accidentally hit a duck with a rock and some old people gave them mean looks! All in all I would say the first "Buddy Day" was a success and Mom got some much needed girl time and grown-up conversation. Even though all we really did was talk about our kids! Hee-hee.
