Thanksgiving in Greece!

Finally, the long awaited Greece pictures! We had a wonderful journey back in time with both sets of our parents. The Felicianos were wonderful tour guides and hosts in the beautiful country of Greece. We visited so many exciting places. We walked in Paul’s footsteps. Isaac did great, sleeping whenever he got the chance…catching shut-eye in airports, the stroller on the subway in Athens, the car seat driving through the mountains down to the sea. Our highlights were visiting Meteora - monastaries perched on mountains for protection; Delphi – what the ancient Greeks believed was the center of the world and would travel for months just to spend a few days on the side of the mountain overlooking the sea; Corinth – where we actually opened our Bibles and read about where we were standing; Athens – we stood on Mars Hill where Paul addressed the people of Athens, marveled at the amazing architecture of the Parthenon, and did some serious shopping (it was the day after Thanksgiving…so of course we would go shopping); Volos – a seaside village where we watched a beautiful sunset and had some yummy seafood; Larisa – home of the Felicianos and a wonderful village where we were able to really experience the Greek culture. I’m not even going to start writing about how delicious all the food was. I’m used to going overseas and losing a few pounds. Not on this trip! Isaac is now an experienced world traveler and we can’t wait to go more places in the future.

Welcome back! We're glad you had a wonderful trip. We're impressed that Isaac is a world traveler now...we barely got our two across the country. :) Happy New Year!
